Sick alps — more than just an event, it's where people drive famous routes with their cars. A community where strangers become friends and friends turn into family. 🖤♠️🤘

Sick Alps is a heart-driven Porsche road trip community founded by legends Moritz “Mo” and Kerstin, built around the belief that driving is about far more than getting from A to B. What began as a private Alpine adventure has grown into a tightly held international family of air-cooled classics, modern Porsches, unconventional builds and people who live for raw, authentic driving moments. Entry is kept deliberately limited through a raffle and level system. Everyone starts at Level 1, with those who complete a level becoming eligible for the next, all the way up to Level 5. Across Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland, Sick Alps brings together small groups of Porsche owners for epic mountain passes, hidden routes, long days behind the wheel, great food, community events and friendships forged somewhere between the hairpins.

NOT ALL SPONSORS GET TO RIDE ALONG, BUT WE ASKED IF THERE WAS ANYTHING WE COULD DO TO ASSIST — frankly we'd have carried their bags just to be there... luckily we ENDED UP AS CAMERA CAR DRIVER... IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!

One of our founders James-Lee flew into Geneva, where we were greeted by the creative crew before squeezing ourselves into the camera car — a compact BMW SUV packed with people, cameras, kit and more creative energy than it probably had room for.

Snug would be an understatement.

Over the next few days, we made our way from Geneva to Nice, chasing the Sick Alps convoy through twisting mountain passes, breathtaking views and some of the most incredible driving roads we’ve ever experienced. For anyone who loves a curve, a switchback or a view that makes you forget what gear you’re in, it was pure magic.

For us, it was a baptism of fire.

Our role was to help the creative team capture the action — which meant strapping them into the back of the car while they dangled their feet inches from the road, hauling professional video cameras and filming rolling shots of the cars behind, beside and ahead of us. Our job was to drive with enough pace to keep up, but smoothly enough to keep the footage steady.

No pressure, then.

But seeing the results — the insanely beautiful footage now shared across the Sick Alps Instagram feed — made every mile worth it. That same footage is what first hit our petrol-fuelled hearts and made us crave being part of the experience in the first place. Gotta say, being a chase car for rolling shots is a thrill in itself.

Sick Alps creates lasting experiences. The kind that stay with you long after the engines have cooled and the bags are unpacked.

Along the way, we also had the chance to ride with some of the participants in a seriously special mix of Stuttgart metal. First up was Dom’s 964 convertible, which made a whole lot of sense in the canyons — open air, sprawling mountain views above, and a soundtrack coming hard from the stereo. Dom’s got great taste in music, by the way.

Then came a hardcore passenger ride with Joel, aka @nineelevenoutlaw, in his expertly-driven Oak Green 964 coupe. Drifting up switchbacks, clipping through corners and making the most of every inch of road, Joel summed it up perfectly: it was a great way to round off the edges of his tyres. We can definitely second that.

The accommodation and stop-offs were just as well thought out as the routes. Mo and Kerstin don’t just know how to plan the perfect route — they know how to end a long day on the road properly too. Beers, great food and good company were always waiting at the end of each day, which made the whole experience feel even more special.

We, and everyone else who took part, are now part of the Sick Alps family — connected by the roads, the cars, the shared laughs and the miles covered together between Geneva and Nice.

We can only speak for ourselves, but the whole thing gets under your skin. Those smooth mountain passes, those epic views, those long driving days and late-night stories — they leave you wanting more.

More official sick alps shots...

We can’t wait to get back out there with the Sick Alps fam for more miles, more smiles and more unforgettable moments.

A huge shoutout to everyone we met and drove with on the roads from Geneva to Nice. We all share the same passion, and to the creative crew especiallyl Mike AKA @mikes_vision & Jay AKA @jaykyren — we hope James-Lee's driving skills weren’t too bad. 😉🤙
